Full job descripton

Siemens Mobility is a separately managed company of Siemens AG and a leader in intelligent transport solutions. From high-speed trains to smart infrastructure and digital mobility, we are shaping the future of passenger and freight transportation globally and right here in Egypt with our mega rail network projects.

We are excited to announce our Summer Internship Program, designed for passionate undergraduates who want to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This internship is an incredible opportunity to shadow industry experts, contribute to real-world projects, and bridge the gap between academic theory and professional practice.

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Project Support: Assist engineering, project management, and business administration teams in their daily operations and ongoing mega-projects.

  • Data & Research: Conduct market research, gather data, and help prepare technical or commercial reports.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to understand the full lifecycle of mobility projects.

  • Continuous Learning: Participate in workshops, safety briefings, and training sessions tailored to enhance your technical and soft skills.

Who Are We Looking For? (Requirements)

  • Academic Status: Currently enrolled undergraduate students (typically 3rd or 4th year) in Engineering, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Language Skills: Excellent command of written and spoken English and Arabic.

  • Technical Skills: Good proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, a proactive attitude, great communication skills, and a genuine passion for the transportation and tech industry.

Recru’s Golden Tips for Siemens Mobility Interviews

  • Safety & Compliance First: Siemens has a zero-tolerance policy regarding safety. Show your awareness of occupational health and safety (EHS) even if you are applying for a desk-based or administrative role.

  • The “Smart Mobility” Mindset: Read up on Siemens’ current projects in Egypt (like the high-speed electric rail network). Mentioning these projects in your interview shows proactivity and genuine interest in the company’s vision.

  • Eagerness to Shadow: As an intern, your primary job is to learn. Emphasize your willingness to absorb knowledge, ask the right questions, and support the team in any capacity needed.
