Full job description

Advance your banking operations and cash management career with QNB Egypt (QNB ALAHLI) as a Cash Point Agent. Operating across strategic commercial hubs in New Cairo and the 10th of Ramadan industrial city, this role is vital to ensuring rapid, flawless over-the-counter liquidity, securing high-volume cash transactions, and delivering exceptional customer advisory within one of the region’s largest private financial institutions.

Core Responsibilities & Available Tracks

  • High-Volume Cash Operations & Teller Services: Process daily over-the-counter transactions—including cash deposits, withdrawals, and foreign currency exchange—across various account categories (current, savings, overdraft, and General Ledger accounts).
  • Cheque Encashment & Forgery Inspection: Authenticate bank cheques and outgoing remittances for clients and non-client beneficiaries within established authorization limits; meticulously inspect banknotes and financial instruments for counterfeits or forgery.
  • Core Banking System (CBS) Execution: Navigate the bank’s core system to log transactions, verify electronic customer signature mandates, and perform systematic account verifications.
  • Vault Management & Currency Balancing: Count, prove, bundle, and strap cash reserves and coins; execute and document incoming and outgoing transfers to and from the Main Cash Vault while calculating end-of-day daily currency positions.
  • Commercial Referrals & Product Awareness: Maximize front-line touchpoints to introduce retail products, explain digital banking alternatives, and direct interested clients to appropriate branch relationship managers.
  • Risk Governance & Anti-Money Laundering (AML): Enforce strict implementation of Permanent Supervision guidelines, operational risk controls, and Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) anti-money laundering regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Academic Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or related fields from a recognized university.
  • Experience Level: Minimum of one (1) year of professional experience in a relevant banking, teller, cash handling, or financial operations role.
  • Technical Capabilities: Proven competence in currency verification techniques, cash counting accuracy, and working within enterprise Core Banking Systems (CBS).
  • Core Attributes: Absolute integrity, honesty, and trustworthiness, combined with high stress tolerance during peak transactional hours.
  • Language & Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities; fluent in both written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Work Locations: Full-time, branch-based operational opportunities across New Cairo and 10th of Ramadan, Egypt.

Technical Edge: Why Anti-Forgery Protocols & Daily Vault Balancing Matter at QNB Egypt?

In heavy commercial and industrial centers like New Cairo and 10th of Ramadan, cash points process immense corporate liquidity flows and high-volume payroll distributions daily. Operating at this scale introduces direct operational and regulatory risks. A Cash Point Agent acts as an essential security shield against counterfeit banknotes, fraudulent cheque endorsements, and cash variances. Discrepancies in the General Ledger (GL) or vault misallocations can trigger operational audits and violate strict liquidity caps set by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE). By mastering high-speed banknote validation, systematic signature verification, and precise vault balancing, professionals in this role uphold the bank’s balance-sheet integrity while supporting the daily cash needs of regional businesses.

Recru Eg Golden Advice for the Interview

When interviewing for the Cash Point Agent role at QNB Egypt, the recruitment panel will closely evaluate your numerical accuracy, alertness to operational risk, and composure under pressure.
