The Training for Employment (TFE) program provided by the Egyptian Banking Institute through e-learning aims to bridge the gap between academic education and labor market requirements by developing the technical and financial skills of young people through specialized training that qualifies them to be ready for the labor market. Moreover, the program will help them build a conscious personality that enables them to interact and deal with others and enhance the skills required for their career growth. The Training for Employment (TFE) program is offered to all students of public and private universities across Egypt. The program targets students in their fourth academic year, as well as recent graduates from universities across Egypt who have obtained at least a good grade. The program covers various and multiple topics including financial and banking aspects as well as interpersonal skills. The program duration is 23 training hours over the course of a month and the program is presented in English and Arabic. It is worth noting that after completing the study of all parts of the program provided via e-learning, participants who successfully pass the final exam and psychometric assessment will be able to obtain a certificate of completion of the program and will have the opportunity to upload their CVs with other required documents on the TFE platform, to be available to the member banks of the Egyptian Banking Institute (in all governorates of Egypt) according to the conditions that are available at the time. Basic requirements for attending the program
Public and private universities only
Egyptian nationality
Fourth year students with a good grade or higher in the third year
Graduates of the current year or graduates of the last 3 years maximum, with a good grade or higher
Passing the Cambridge CEPT English Language Placement Test – 60% or higher
Evaluation strategy
Entrance tests to the program:
First stage: Cambridge CEPT English Language Placement Test – (score of at least 06%)
Final evaluation
First stage: Technical test (test in the parts studied in the program).
Stage Two: Psychometric Assessment (Psychometric assessment is one of the types of assessments that aim to evaluate an individual's personal characteristics, skills and abilities and determines the way he interacts with the surrounding environment. Psychometric assessments help predict and provide indicators of individuals' competencies in the work environment by assessing the basic behavioral competencies/competencies necessary for success at work)
